What word does the writer use in the middle of the story to indicate that he wasn’t scared of buffalo?
I think it is only because they were relieved that it wasn’t a lion because they didn’t know the danger of a buffalo. |
c) | What would have been a useful item to take on the walk to the lodge? |
I think it would be a flashlight because in the text it says in the text that it was very dark. | |
d) | Explain how the saying in the final line, “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread”, goes with the story. |
“Fools rush in where angels fear to tread” refers to a person who behaves impulsively; they don’t think before reacting. The saying goes with the story because a group of people, Halina and the speaker travel to Africa before knowing very little about it e.g. dangers, animals, people. ________________________________________________________________________ I think this saying connects to the story because the characters rush in to their trip. They tried to move the buffalo without knowing what they were capable of. This was foolish because the buffalo are the most dangerous animals in Africa if their way is blocked. |

For this task today we had to do some work sheets. The first work sheet we had to do was the times table chart. Then we had to do Area and perimeter.
For this today we had to answer some questions about Myths and legends. We also had to summarise one of the Myths that we had listened or read.
Today for reading we looked at old photographs.
Today we learnt about how to interpret signs and symbols. We had to describe the meaning behind movie posters and we also got to create our own symbols and explain what they represent to yourself.
